how to clean your bogs

The natural rubber and neoprene uppers are extremely durable and will clean up easily with a hose and a bit of gentle scrubbing. Use cold water and soap (if needed), but avoid harsh solvents that could damage and break down the rubber. Be sure to remove all mud, muck, and chemicals from your BOGS. Done? You’re off to a great start.

After you’ve wiped them clean, leave your BOGS to dry naturally, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources. A cool, dry, well-ventilated location is best. Store them upright to avoid creasing or folding.

Once your BOGS are dry, you can further clean the rubber part of the uppers with a shoe wax polish or Armor All type spray. This will help remove any natural blooming* of the rubber. However, we recommend against using any kind of condition for the outsole of your BOGS. It may cause them to become slick in wet or icy conditions. And none of us wants that. (*Blooming is the natural process rubber undergoes that makes your boots look powdery and lose their shine)
