Types of Information Collected Technology. We use technology to collect certain information automatically when you visit our Site. We may collect information pertaining to you, the Site pages you visit, and the equipment, software, and communication methods you use to access the Internet and our Site. Most of the information we collect does not contain Personal Information, except for your IP address. We do not use this information to identify or contact individual users.

Session Replay Technology: Heap Analytics and Noibu. We have implemented and use session replay tracker services offered by Heap Analytics and Noibu. The session replay tracker service allows us to collect information about how you navigate our website including your browser and device information, IP address, geolocation, date and time you visited the Site, your customer ID name, and your activity on our website like mouse clicks, text form inputs, scrolls and swipes, loading spinners, pageviews, and site errors. We use this information to improve our website and help you find information you are looking for more efficiently on our website.
4. HOW WE USE ANALYTICS AND TARGETED ADVERTISING
We use both analytics services and targeted advertising in connection with your use of the Site. We describe those activities in detail below.
- Analytical Tools. We use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics provider software tools on our Site to learn more about how visitors navigate the Site and view content. Those ad networks use Cookies and other technologies to serve ads based upon your prior visits to our Site and other websites. These ad networks collect information including your browsing behavior, referring sites, and your response to advertisements.
- Targeted Advertising. Bogs Footwear uses service providers and other third parties such as Google Ads and Rakuten Advertising to serve you internet-based advertisements. Those ad networks use Cookies and other technologies to serve ads based upon your prior visits to our Site and other websites. This does not imply any affiliation with, or an endorsement, authorization, sponsorship or promotion of a non-Bogs Footwear website or its owner. Bogs Footwear is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third parties or any third-party websites. 9. SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES.
Bogs Footwear participates in social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube that enable online sharing and collaboration among customers. This Site may allow you to connect to and share information with these various social media platforms. These features may require us to implement Cookies, plug-ins, and application protocol interfaces (APIs) provided by those social media platforms to facilitate those communications and features.
By choosing to use any third-party social media platform or choosing to share content or communications with any social media platform, you allow us to share information with the designated social media platform. We cannot control any policies or terms of any third-party platforms. As a result, we cannot be responsible for any use of your information or content by a third-party platform, which you use at your own risk.
10. ACCESS BY CHILDREN.
The Site is not directed at children. Bogs Footwear does not knowingly collect, use, or share Personal Information from children under thirteen (13) years old. If a parent or legal guardian learns that their child provided us with Personal Information without his or her consent, please contact us at BogsFootwearPrivacyPolicy@weycogroup.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases.

In order to verify your request to know, to correct, or your request to delete, you must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information and you must describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it You must provide your first and last name, your home address, and the linked email account(s) to Bogs Footwear.com. Please note however, that we may request additional information as necessary to confirm your identity.
- Who May Exercise Your Rights? You may only make a request to exercise your rights on behalf of yourself. A parent or legal guardian may make a request on behalf of their child. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf to exercise your rights under VCDPA by doing the following: (1) provide the authorized agent written permission to do so; and (2) verify your own identity (per the process stated above), as well as the identity of the authorized agent directly. We may deny a request from an authorized agent if we do not have proof that they are authorized by you to act on your behalf.
Virginia Appeals Process.
- Right to Seek an Appeal. If you disagree with our refusal to take action on a request to exercise your Virginia consumer privacy rights, you may appeal within sixty (60) days of your receipt of our denial by contacting us at BogsFootwearPrivacyPolicy@weycogroup.com. Once we receive your email, we will acknowledge your request and start processing your appeal.
- Appeal time Frame. Within 60 days of receipt of an appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decision.
- Rights upon denial of an appeal. If you disagree with our decision after appeal, you may contact the Attorney General to submit a complaint at File a Complaint (state.va.us) or by calling 1-800-552-9963.
